Podiatrists assess, diagnose, treat and manage conditions of the feet and legs. Footcare is incredibly important for people that suffer diabetes since that causes many foot problems. As we grow older, our mobility slows down, which invites more foot related diseases or problems to arise which makes seeing a podiatrist even more important.

When should I see a Podiatrist?

You should enquire seeing a Podiatrist if you Diabetes, Arthritis or suffer from falls regularly. They can also help if your feet feel discomfort when you're wearing shoes. Overall healthy feet and legs are important for everyone.

In addition, a Podiatrist will:

  • Help prevent toenail and skin problems
  • Provide pressure relief on your feet and can assist with orthotics and relief insoles.
  • Perform ingrown toenail surgery
