What's the difference between Remedial Massage & Deep Tissue?

If you want to get the most benefit out of your massage treatment, Remedial massage and Deep tissue massage are the best options. But what's the difference between the two, and why would we offer one over the other?

Deep Tissue Massage

This type of massage applies more pressure to penetrate deeper into the muscles. It may cause some discomfort, but it is often regarded as a "good pain" by individuals who appreciate this kind of massage. It is a full-body massage that applies pressure across the body to reduce tension and aid in the recovery from exercise and injuries.

Remedial Massage

Remedial massage differs from Deep Tissue massage because it focuses on treating specific parts of the body for pain and injury. It requires a deep understanding of the body's muscular structure and involves reviewing the client's muscles, ligaments, tendons, and posture. The massage therapist uses firm pressure to target pain points and areas that need rehabilitation over several sessions. This approach helps the client recover and stay focused on their treatment goals.
