Physiotherapists and Personal Trainers are well-known, but how do they differ from an Exercise Physiologist (EP)?
AEPs (Accredited Exercise Physiologist) are highly trained allied health professionals specialising in the science of physical exercise and possessing in-depth knowledge of how exercise affects the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and endocrine systems.
AEPs are qualified to prescribe and deliver effective and safe exercise routines for their clients with acute or chronic medical conditions, injuries, or disabilities. Their main goal is to enhance and optimise client health, function, recovery, and independence so they can live healthily and happily.
We aim to create a safe and comfortable environment to ensure your needs are met during your exercise sessions. Additionally, we liaise with your GP, physiotherapist, and other important figures (such as family members) to ensure you receive the best possible services.
Our Exercise Physiologists specialise in exercise management for chronic health conditions. They conduct group exercise classes and guide you through using the HUR equipment to maximum efficiency. They may adjust your Health Management Program routine so you are meeting your goals.
