At promitto we offer a variety of Exercise Classes designed for different difficulty levels to cater to individual needs and capabilities. These classes aim to exercise different parts of your body in different ways. Not to mention, it's fun to exercise as a group and can drive you to do better every time.
Exercising is crucial for maintaining strength and mobility, especially as we age. It's important to engage in various types of exercises that target different parts of the body, as simply walking is not sufficient for building strength and balance. Working on our muscles and core is essential for our overall strength and health.
What Exercise Classes do we offer?
Mat Pilates Classes Focus on improving overall body strength, stability and mobility through mat based exercises
Balance Classes Enhance stability and confidence through movement
Functional Fitness Classes Combine mixture of strength, core and balance to improve your general fitness that helps you engage in regular activities effectively
There will be more classes added in future, so be sure to keep up to date with our news articles and/or feel free to ask our Exercise Physiologists for upcoming classes.
State of the Art Equipment Designed to Measure Performance
At Promitto, we use specially designed strength training equipment that is pneumatically designed; they run entirely on air pressure. This means that there is no use of traditional "free-weights" that you may find at a normal gym. This comes with several advantages that make them the perfect equipment for seniors and people recovering during occupational therapy.
Incremental Weights
The equipment can adjust weight in small 100g increments for smoother progression, unlike standard machines with larger increments.
Safety & Efficiency
The equipment always provides optimal resistance, naturally mimicking the regular function of the muscles. This ensures that the exercise is performed with maximum efficiency. Traditional weights can cause stress on the muscles and joints of the user much sooner. Using one of these machines reduces the likelihood of muscle soreness and injuries, and lowers the chance of accidents happening.
Noiseless
No weights means no loud clunking or smashing, making the experience much more calming. We have several different machines available to target all sorts of different muscles.
Customised Routine
The benefit to using our equipment is its technology and accessibility. The equipment activates and presets all settings to the user’s specific requirements (After establishing what those are of course). With a swipe of a unique identifier card, the user's resistance values, height adjustments, and workout routine are uploaded to the machine. The user then performs the workout routine and can make adjustments as they improve. The data is then uploaded to our systems online where our health experts can evaluate your progress and make further adjustments as necessary. This information is also useful for GPs or other Allied Health departments that may want to view this information for themselves.
We have several different machines available to target all sorts of other muscles. If you have an interest in finding out how they work in person, be sure to book a free consultation and tour of our club.

Functional Fitness - Core & Strength Class
A mix of strength, core, and balance leading to functional training to perform activities efficiently and confidently, using a variety of equipment to burn calories, improve fitness, and learn new skills and exercises.
All classes are 40 minutes, instructors will provide alternative options to cater to different abilities.
It is important that we do exercises that safely challenge our balance so we can reduce our risk of falls, injuries, and accidents. We recommend speaking to an exercise physiologist or physiotherapist about joining our balance classes. Based on your skill level, we can include more balance exercises in your Strength Training* classes before you join the Balance class to build your confidence.
