Exercising is crucial for maintaining strength and mobility, especially as we age. It's important to engage in various types of exercises that target different parts of the body, as simply walking is not sufficient for building strength and balance. Working on our muscles and core is essential for our overall strength and health.

What is Chiropractic adjustment?

Chiropractic adjustment is a specialised treatment in which chiropractors apply controlled, sudden force to specific areas of the spine, a technique known as spinal manipulation. They also examine and treat health conditions related to bones, muscles, and joints (musculoskeletal problems).

Your spine is the most important bone in your body. It keeps you upright, provides structure to your body, and enables you to move and flex around. You need to ensure it is looked after appropriately.

When should you see a Chiropractor?

  1. If you have a spinal injury or low physical body function and movement.
  2. Chiropractic care can help reduce the wear and tear of bones due to osteoarthritis.
  3. To realign your spine to reduce pain and improve mobility.
  4. To prevent future spine and back problems due to aging.

Initially you might find after a Chiropractic adjustment some soreness or tiredness. Some people even get mild headaches. However these side effects are only temporary, as the pros of visiting a Chiropractor vastly outweigh the temporary discomfort.
